Snow storm today and the snow is not going to stop until tomorrow. Making old fashioned apple cakes and sending one over to the kids house, which is right next door, thank god Split pea soup and flavored coffees is on the menu. Stay warm and safe ladies

not much today

I actually got out and drove to grocery store, i do go out to do things every now/than

use to live right next to lake michigan when living in illinois back in the 80's. i remember those snow storms. some of them were WOW where did all that snow come from

@northiie57 those cats appreciate the snow more than I do. I shoveled two inches of snow this morning. My 15 day forecast from the Weather Channel doesn't even show a forty degree day in the near future. I've got several library books to read this weekend. One is David Venable's half homemade, fully delicious cookbook. Oh, I should also say I bought the TSV cleaning kit and it arrived. I think I'll get a lot of use out of the various cleaning heads. I just hope the plastic extension rod they attach to doesn't break.

Hello all!
I haven't been here for ages. I'm happy to see "what are you doing today" is still active. On that note, today I've been tidying up and vacuuming the house. Also finishing some laundry. I did run to Winnco to pick up some long term pantry items. It's a sunny day here. 68 degrees right now at 3:15pm.
