Thats what the news commentators were saying...I think you're right..! Both she and Harry have their causes..isn't that how they met??

Lol at Gayle King's green hat. So silly that it's good.

I would love a slice of that cake!

I found the recipe but right now I do not have any plans to have 600 people over anytime soon.   LOL

200 Amalfi lemons
 500 organic eggs from Suffolk
20kgs of butter
 20kgs of flour
 20kgs of sugar
10 bottles of Sandringham Elderflower Cordial

If I could change one little thing, I wish Meghan's back had not been towards her mom when saying her vows. Doria should have been able to see her daughter's beautiful face radiating so much love and happiness.

@magicmoodz  Brides historically stand to the left but unfortunately the seating isn't set up the same as in most churches-meaning Doria would have been able to see Meghan's side and not her back because she would have been seated in a standard pew.  I agree-I wish the seating was more traditional in that church.

I was so touched by Doria-I think she represented this wedding above everyone else.

I felt sad that she didn't have companion but her eyes misting up before the ceremony started-*sob*.

I agree, not optimal seating arrangements. But it is clear that Meghan comes by her poise and grace having an excellent role model. Where some of us might not be able to disguise our discomfort having to participate in this historical event for all the world to see, Doria projected a quiet elegance of aplomb.

Did any one catch the name of the very pregnant gal in the bright pink dress who exited the car to herd the kids ?

Dress was OK, but, I would had went with something more fantastic.

Too plain for me. Veil/train was pretty though. She did have on a diamond bracelet and her hair was up and pulled back. I would had put on more foundation and powdered my nose and darker lipstick.

I would had picked pearl diamond drop earrings. Queen Mary's tiara was good choice. Flashy, but, not over the top compared to the rest of them that Queen owns.  Prince Philip was standing on his own. I thought he might be in wheelchair. He has the constitution of a elephant.

Best part was when they were in the carriage and they came thru to the final lap into the castle and Meghan showed a big sigh of relief and went like 'Thank God, that's over'.   Commentator burst out laughing as I did.

Doria, was trying to hold back her tears best she could. Clearly emotional. Now , the speculation will begin "baby bump", blah, blah.
