All four of our local news stations have sent reporters and are aggressively promoting it during regular programming.  How many reporters can they accomodate?  I think that's bananas.

@Group 5 minus 1, I watch one for the weather but you don't watch at night either when they have network programming with local breaks?  It seems like for days the local breaks have been reporters in the UK promoting the local station.

I often wondered that too.  If the networks send reporters then why do they need local stations going?

@LoriLori  This morning on our local news station all the females were dressed in fascinators and the one lonely male newscaster had on a tophat.  Not aware if they were sending representatives...does seem a bit redundant.

@deepwaterdotter.  That was pretty stupid considering the week-end is upon us and nobody will be at school.  All of these TV reporters harp on WHY a person shot up the school.  I doubt most of the shooters could articulate a reason.

Of course.  All of our local stations sent an entire team to the cover the wedding.  That wedding was big news all over the world.
