@Noel7 @Moonchilde @dooBdoo - I happened to come across that thread this morning. It was from March 2015 and I noted that in my response. There were some responses from today so I'm guessing people didn't check the date - as I've also done more than once! Riley1

Thanks @riley1  😀  I've done it more than once, too.  It's so unexpected.

This is too bad! Old or not, good info can help lots of women! Plus, there are new treatments coming out every day! Must have been a male moderator! lol

If the moderators don't have the time or interest in removing old threads then maybe they should allow the OP of every thread the right to do so.  Sure would stop a lot of annoying accusations and name calling just because someone brings up an old thread.

Thanks for the explanation @Beth-QVC

I never notice the dates.  I was so hopeful it might have information for someone I care about who is having debilitating pain and the MDs have no idea what's causing it.

A thread that is almost 4 years old wouldn't have the most up-to-date treatment info anyway. I sure hope someone who has these issues would discuss all the options available with their doctor and not look to a shopping channel forum for medical advice beyond just hearing about others' own personal exprience but even then, with advancements made all the time, someone's bad experience with a particular procedure may not be relevant four years later as the procedure might have been improved by now or better options available. But I am sure there are alot more in-depth forums that are more up-to-date you can find online.

I didn't read through the one year old thread most are talking about here but there was another one bumped with similar info on the Beauty forum that was almost 4 years old. It actually might still be there...not sure. It might be nice to just start a new post to discuss more recent information rather than resurrect an almost 4 year old thread. Seems odd to do so, especially when concerning medical treatments that often get improved or tweaked over the years so the info may not be relevant anymore.

It was from last year, @HappyDaze. You read that yourself but are still calling it a four year old post.  Also you missed the point which was spelled out.

But...but...she needed an opportunity to tell you that you're foolish for looking at (1) old information, (2) any information on these forums, and (3) look it up yourself. I think THAT was "the point."

As I stated, there were two threads on the same subject - one in beauty as well and it was bumped and it was a 4 year old thread so I am mentioning that as well.

I didn't miss the point at all and my points are valid even if you want to disregard them and anyone else's thoughts on it that don't mesh with yours. If you want to help your friend, looking at old posts seems like an odd way to do it. Oh yeah, jmo of course.

@HappyDaze

Yes, you did miss the point, I wasn't looking for medical advice and the woman in question had already seen three specialists.  How you missed all that is beyond me, it seems you're just in a bad mood and are unable to tell one post from the other.
