  Sitting here watching TV and I just saw a commercial for 

Sun Cruiser Vodka Ice Tea. What the heck ?? anyone heard of that or tried it ?  I don't drink any kind of alcohol, my drink of choice is water, coffee and Sparkling Ice Lemon flavored water.  I would never drink anything like that but I thought wow ! What kind of drink will they come up with next ?

The Vodka Iced Tea Cocktail has been around for as long as I can remember - its just vodka, iced tea and a little sweetener.  And I should add, it's pretty darn good.

People put liquor in a LOT of things.  I have used wine in different récipés when I used to cook.   When I retired, the kitchen closed...

I seldom drink it, because it has no nutritional value, and is empty calories.   (I think the last time was some champagne at a college graduation party.)

Don't ever ask for a Long Island Iced Tea when you go to a restaurant. It contains vodka, rum, gin, and tequila. Don't think it contains any actual tea.

@AuntMame , Don't forget a splash of cola. It tastes like tea and is powerful.

I would go with Vodka and Arnold Palmer ... which is half lemonade and half iced tea, and a very refreshing combination.  

Even if you don't drink alcohol, get a little reckless and try lemonade and iced tea, just for the heck of it.

Lemonade and iced tea together ? I like the Sparkling ice lemon water as I noted but adding ice tea to it? I might have to try that !
