David Hall testified that he failed to conduct a safety test in the gun.

There had also been conflicting reports regarding who actually handed the gun to Baldwin.

Couple all of this with his plea deal (cya) and the complaints by others regarding the lack of safety on the set - I felt Hall got off easy.

Whether Baldwin should be found guilty is not my call, although his lack of admission to firing the weapon is another issue.

I understand why she was convicted as it was her responsibility to account for ALL ammunition and weapons on the set.   She needed to secure the guns and the ammo.

But there will be another trail in June for Alex Baldwin.   He was the producer and responsible for all the rules and actions on the set.  He was responsible for the hires and the conduct on the set.   And there was a rule that all people who handle the guns on the set must FIRST inspect them for ammo before using them on set.   He did not.  Because of that, he could be liable also.

I have conflicting emotions about this.😐 I believe the verdict is appropriate given the crime👍, and HOPE and PRAY this provides the victim's family with some closure,🤞🙏 so that now the healing process can begin for them.❤🤞 They deserve that!!❤ It is just SO unfortunate that a split second careless decision will change what could have been a promising trajectory for Hannah's young life.🤔

It will be interesting to see how Alex Baldwin fares in his own trial. I think his money and celebrity will allow him to walk.  He pulled the trigger, did not mean to kill anyone, but the woman died.

I don't think Alex Baldwin in anyway meant to harm or kill anyone.   But he was negligent in not checking his gun before he even held it.   It was his responsibility.

A split second decision?   Like in a drunk driver killing an innocent other driver on the same road?   The Armorer had the responsibility for ALL the weapons and ammunition on the set to daily inspect them, secure them, teach the actors and others to respect and handle them properly, and to purchase and store them correctly.   If any part of her actions / responsibilities were not performed properly, it is negligence that can and did cost a life.

@NYwoman ...Exactly!...You explained it very well...As Producer, Alec Baldwin was responsible for also overseeing a safe and secure working environment and that all safety regulations were being met, as well as what you have stated above...However, we are now aware that there was such carelessness and chaos on the set that was obviously being ignored...It comes down to so much more than him being the one that held the gun and pulled the trigger of which he is now trying to imply that he didn't even pull the trigger...So much has come out about the incompetence and working conditions on the set.
