@dex I don't know if anything was said to him, I'll ask him when he gets home. I know he was traveling about 35-40 and was on the inside lane. A car in the outer lane stopped for an elderly man edging out. Then the elderly man hit the gas to try to make a turn left and hit my husband. My husband thought the car stopping was turning into a church lot, but instead it was letting an old man through.

The entire church congregation of the elderly man came out and knew the old man caused it and knew he was getting too old to drive apparently. That's the bad part as others knew he was driving badly. I later asked his insurance company when we went to collect if he lost his license but they said they didn't know. Maybe it was too soon they couldn't tell if he had an auto policy or she just wasn't allowed to say.

I have been waiting for over a year to have the Takata airbag on the passenger side of

my beloved 2004 Subaru Legacy.

We were at the Honda dealership for my husbands car and they partially put a part in and we have to wait for them to order the second part.

I feel silly but I treasure my llife and will still sit in the back seat  until!

I have any passengers (my neighbor) also has to ride in back seat.  I think this is terrible.

@dex I found out about the airbag malfunction. My husband's pickup had a brush guard so it interfered with the sensors when it got hit. I didn't know that, sorry to have wasted your time. I do remember he had a long wait to get into the dealership, for the recall like others. Too bad they didn't work, but my husband was only a little sore.

I got the notice last spring, I think.  I received the "remedy" notice a couple weeks ago and had the "fix" done last week.  I was offered a loaner car until a remedy was ready, but I declined because I am the only one driving the car.  The problem was with the passenger side.

@tends2dogs.i like how your dealership gave you the opportunity to drive a safer vehicle during the wait. What make of vehicle do you drive?I think if dealerships had to supply a vehicle this problem would have gotten resolved a lot wuicker.

It is a 2009 Toyota Matrix.  We keep it here at our "down south"house for me to run around in.  I don't think I put 1000 miles on it a season, but it still made me nervous.  I would have taken the loaner if DH and I used this vehicle when going out and about, but we don't.  When my daughter came to visit, we went shopping and she chose to sit in the back.  It was inconvenient, but we both felt safer.
