The insanity defense will never work for them. No one will believe it. They knew what they were doing. The mother just wanted to convince herself of that stuff to make herself feel better. It was just her excuse for all the horrific things she did.

@Lali1  I agree with you.  But soulless"people" who could do this to children won't lose a wink of sleep over it. The only thing they're sorry about is getting caught.

@Bri369, that was my first thought after reading the opening post. I wasn't exactly prepared for those kind of details. It might be appropriate to have a disclaimer in the subject line, if it's appropriate at all.

I don't understand the value of dwelling on the details of such atrocities on children. IMO, it serves no purpose.

The thread title said : Death Details. That is the disclaimer. If you don't want the details don't open it up. As far as why we want to know is for several reasons. How will they be charged, can we prevent it, who did what when, were they tortured, was it a natural death, what does their body say to us and etc.......We all wanted the details of George Floyd's Murder, why don't these kids deserve the same attention. It's almost like I am hearing "At this point what does it matter now"? Thank goodness we do have Medical Examiners to help us figure this out.

I think that momma and the step dad or bf need to just be put out of their misery. We shouldn't have to pay for those two's room and board year after year. Good grief, those poor children.

I am sorry, no mother should ever think, let alone, do something so horrific to her own children, for what, a man? She was blessed to have those children (so many people can't), it was her responsibility to care for them and keep them safe. As a child, you should rely on your parents to do no harm to you. I am sure she knew all along what happened to them. They didn't have to die if they were "in the way", I 'm sure a grandparent, aunt, or uncle would have taken them in.
