I was reading a book that listed things that people did in 'days gone by' and it came to my mind that if I could just take my grandson back in time, it would be wonderful for him to see how things "use to be" - recalling 'a clean yard with no grass, mother raking the yard with a dogwood brush broom, the old eating first and the children last, people saying "much obliged" instead of "thank you"....ah, the memories. My question to my QVC Friends is does anyone know of a place that re-enacts the past where children can actually see how things use to be? An old timey vacation is what I am looking for....preferably on the East Coast.
