@on the bay

You might be right.  It probably is just with the new ones.  I finally got a new iPhone last year.  I think it's the 14 pro max.  I had been using an iPhone 7 Plus for years until it finally gave out on me lol.😃. I loved that phone though.

Those are beautiful...so delicate and ethereal. I've never seen these before. I've mentioned before that I have lived in the low desert my entire life so I really appreciate seeing the flora and fauna in other areas... thank you!!

@cheriere - How wonderful to spend so much time in the woods looking at all of nature’s wonders. I love being outdoors and just meandering through beautiful and peaceful places. I find it extremely relaxing and even therapeutic. I consider it my meditation. 😊🩷

Oh WOW!  What a variety of mushrooms!  I'd LOVE ❤️ to be able to find or have access to all those!  The second row looks like what we call hickory chickens / morels.

Im so happy you posted these, thank you.❤️

It's nice to know you thought of me when you saw these mushrooms.😊🍄‍🟫🍄‍🟫

Unfortunately, I haven't had any luck.  I don't understand it either??  We've always had them in a certain spot in the woods.  I'm wondering if someone might've been on our property picking some.

We have around 100 acres here with the house.  The way our woods border the mountain with other property, we've had people over here before hunting ginseng.  I sure hope that's not the case.😔

Im still not giving up!  I just spent about 3 hours out this afternoon searching.  I did find some other interesting plants.  For that, I'm thankful. 🌸

Hi @cheriere

It appears you have created a new hobby! That's wonderful and in addition to exercise and education you have a creative outlet. I agree with others, maybe you could have your photos made into prints ready for framing. They are just that beautiful! ❤️

I'm sorry you haven't had any luck with your morel hunting and hope it's not because people are coming on your land to do a little hunting of their own.

When I learned that morels are common in my state, I also learned that people are very "stingy" in sharing where they hunt for them.

Oh well, no worries, I'll be buying my mushrooms at the store. I have an (ir)rational fear of ticks. And when I learned they hang out in grass, well I am grateful for sidewalks! Haha!
