@cheriere ,

I was just thinking I love reading about your nature walks and what you find and the beautiful pictures and descriptions. So please don't feel like you are posting too many pictures ever. I really enjoy them and you are taking all of us along with you on your walks!Heart

@cheriere I don't live in NY.  I just noted that the Violet Wood Sorrel was threatened there.  I live in The South.

Oh okay, well it's still sad to hear that.  I've became really interested in learning about endangered plant life.  Sounds like you are too because you've taught me this.😃🌸

Thank you so much for saying that because I don't want to get on anyone's nerves posting my nature pics.  💝

I really have developed an interest in learning more about these plants too.  There's more to come lol.  I had a long, plant productive walk today.  It was sunny and around 68 degrees--Perfect weather for it.😃🌸

❤️

I'm really happy you liked it.  I actually tried tasting the flowers.  It's true, tastes like citrus without being bitter.😃

You are quite knowledgeable in the local plants and flowers @cheriere

I wouldn't know what I was looking at!

Thanks 😊❤️

Really, I just know a few things about them..."country girl stuff" lol.  The rest I've researched on the internet and tried to condense things down, just hitting the most important points.

But, I'm really liking these walks and learning.  It's like fun exercise lol.😃

@cheriere ,

So cute-"don't want to get on anyone's nerves"Woman LOL

I'm looking forward to more pictures

and love that you know the names with your great info about seeing what it is by taking a picture on your iphone and touching the circle!

My son said I had to use a google app. Or go through google I guess.

I don't know how to get it to work on the google app.  I wish I did though.  I'd love ❤️ to be able to help you with that.  I might look it up tomorrow and see if I can find any easy explanation of how to...I'm not super computer savvy lol.

I have more pics ready to post.  I'll try to post another interesting one tomorrow.😃🌸

@cheriere,

No don't look up the google thing. That's just how he gets it.

I have an iphone but when I take a picture then click on the circle it just shows the date.

How do you do it or maybe it is just on the newer phones. Mine is updated to latest but not the newest phone.

and don't feel you have to tell me if you want to go to bed!Heart
