Innovative British hair stylist, died on this day in 2012.   Had a revolutionary effect on how hair was viewed, treated and manipulated in the Fifties, Sixties and beyond.  Suddenly there were precision, geometic cuts, and you could run your fingers through it!  Part of the British "youthquake" in Britain in the Sixties, that included designer Mary Quant.

Remember Mia Farrow's famous crop cut?

Born into the most impoverished circumstances in London, abandoned by father, consigned to tenement living and then an orphanage for years, he found a way out.  His ideas and his wits created a great entrepreneurial empire out of nothing.

Diabetes runs in my family, annually have blood-sugar levels tested. So far no issues, implement preventive measures, diet moderate exercise. Thanks! 🌹
