A few years ago we went to lunch on Valentines day and while we were eating a quartet came in off the street and just started serenading everyone and gave all the ladies a rose. Totally spontaneous - it was very cool.

When I was working we had our birthday as a paid holiday every year - however my birthday is the first week in Jan So we would always be too busy and I could not get it off. So instead I would put in for my birthday holiday on Valentines Day because it is my anni. and would always get it off.
