[ Edited ]

There has been a temporary settlement for 90 days. They will get a 62% increase.over 6 years. So, it looks like for the time being, we will be ok.

Now, what are folks going to do with all that TP and water?  Maybe they should donate it.

They said on the news TP or paper towels were not at risk. People just panic with no information to validate their concerns.

The raise is over 6 years but this is just until January 15, 2025.  So we will see what happens after this tenative agreement ends. They didn't mention anything about stopping automation.

I find the tentative pay increases to be quite reasonable,  given the nature of the work and it's to be implemented over 6 years.  It's a compromise between the demand and the offer and is a logical midrange settlement point.

That was the easy part.  I think ongoing negotiations over automation are going to be much more difficult to solve.
