Update October 07, 2015

[ Edited ]

My wife is doing better and I will know more tomorrow after we see her surgeon. Getting around better with less pain and will continue to carry a pillow everywhere she goes in our home. Lily, our canine, unlike our feline family, likes to jump up on her when she is standing, and that is not a good thing for my wife.

Hopefully everything will be on track with her healing process and the doctor will remove her staples during the visit tomorrow. She is now getting by with taking an Aleve twice a day and it seems to be all she needs for her pain level.

I want to thank all of you once again for taking the time to pray and send your thoughts to my wife/myself, and for our loss of our oldest feline, Max. He came up to our townhome a few months before we moved, but we did not bring him into our home then as we felt like our 5 felines was plenty at that time.

When it came time to move, there was no way we were going to leave him behind at the mercy of the outdoors and all of its inherent dangers for all domestic animals. So we took him in a couple weeks before we move into our present home and what a prize he was for my wife and myself and all his furry family members.

I have an incredible feline story to share with all of you, but will do so at another time. Have to get going now, but not without thanking all of you for thinking of us during these tough times of our lives.

Our very best to all of you,

Cindy/our furry family and myself, JOhn

Thanks for the update John. Continued best wishes and positive thoughts for both Cindy and you.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

John,

Thank you for re-visiting the boards to share Cindy's progress with us. Gotta tell you that many of us have been concerned for both Cindy and you.  Our prayers and positive energy have continued your way.

Please let us know how things are going for you.  Did you have the diagnostic test(s) yet?  How are you doing?  Please keep us posted.

Thanks, my friend.  And, here's to the Rangers' success in the upcoming season. ~Rebecca
