[occasionalrain]

I dislike the taste and scent of bananas but I buy them because I like how they look in my fruit bowl. I suspect some might find that peculiar, so I wonder if other posters do things that some might find odd.

@occasionalrain So when they rot do you just toss them or recycle in compost or other? If you just toss them I think this is just plain silly and a waste of food. If you recycle, ok.

When they begin to get speckled and pungent, I put them outside for the raccoon and opossum who come by at night.

I still wear an N95 mask when inside public spaces.  I suspect many might find that to be "odd".  I haven't suffered from any viruses in the last 5 years.

Yes I would say that is odd and had me smiling.

I think what my kids would say is that

#1-my kitchen counter space has very non practical things on it so not much room for food or food preparation lol! Like pictures of grandkids and lights and little pictures my grandkids drew and pretty ornaments.

Also I usually have 3 glasses of something to drink in the refrigerator at all times, much to my son's bewilderment. Because what if I don't finish them? I still like them cold and then I don't have to pour something everytime!

I love this so much! I have had a possum friend every place I've lived the past several years. They are so cute and sweet and they eat so loudly! I know they will love your bananas
