I don't think that there is one spot in the whole state of California that isn't affected by the smoke from all of the fires, and where I live, is no exception.

G-d bless our brave firefighters who are working past the point of exhaustion fighting all of these wildfires.

I pray that everyone affected by the fires, is safe and stays safe.

The wildfire closest to me is the Red Salmon Complex fire, and our air is brown.

It's depressing.

A local paper wrote an article about it.

You know that the air quality is bad when even the birds have left the area.

The air quality here in Colorado is very bad, too. We have many forest fires going on right now. PLUS the wind brings in additional smoke from the fires burning to the west of us in California. The skies have been very hazy for weeks now. It is indeed depressing.

The smoke from the California fires is also drifting over Arizona.  (Adding to our own smoke.)

Sorry to hear you guys are going through that. Any chance that unusual cold front will bring in some clearer air?

I just finished reading about some of the harrowing rescues from the Creek (?) fire, near the resevoir.....

My thoughts and prayers are with you and all the rescue workers.

I cannot imagine the terror.

@SilleeMee   I saw CO is due for a snowstorm on Tuesday.  Maybe the drastic change will help.

We're seeing the smoke here in Oklahoma.  The sky has a light brown haze to it.

I hope so @Cakers3 . We need precipitation here badly...put out the fires.
