The news in my area said that the women had split up and that one of them applied for assistance. Since she applied for financial assistance and has a child the courts looked for the other parent. I think the other woman should be responsible not the man. Granted he wasn't very smart and should not have agreed without some type of doctor helping but the two women are responsible for this child.
