Kansas man who donated his fellas to a lesbian couple has been made to pay child support because he didn't go through a doctor/clinic for the procedure. The judge said says that he didn't follow the Kansas law. The gentleman is appealing.
Apparently one of the mothers fell on hard times and sought aid from the state and they asked about the paternity of the child and was given the man's name.
The ladies found the bio dad through a Craigs list ad.
In my opinion the bio Dad should win his appeal. What do you think?

He thought he was just being a donor, nothing else.

Just.
Ignorance of the law is no excuse. (Assuming the judge is right, and the donor did not follow Kansas law.)

But it's not a law that would be familiar to the average person.

I feel unjust, though I do not think the taxpayers should be paying for the child.

ITA, many of us fall on hard times but I put this in the laps of the two mothers.
