I have been pleasantly surprised, everything that I ordered arrived on time. I had no disappointments whatsoever and so they deserve credit when they get things right. Thank you US Postal Service.

This represents more last year's deliveries, but a few here, as well as myself, watched USPS take our orders on tours this year.

I've had a few of those round about deliveries by the USPS this year. My packages visited several states, came to the midwest and left  to travel again and then back to the midwest finally stopping at my address. ! Woman LOL

I had no issues with any of the carriers. All my packages were delivered ahead of schedule. Kudos to all of them.

I've had no issues with any carriers either except for this one Christmas card that keeps coming back to my house. Three times now this card has shown up in my mailbox (Informed Delivery told me so)  even though I have written the right address on it in big red letters. Fortunately the mail carrier catches it before it drops in the box and does whatever with it.

No issues here either. I will say I was selective on where I ordered from. Companies that I knew had had slow ship times were avoided!

Joking aside I think I know why this happens.  I think when the shortest route to you gets clogged up that packages get rerouted to keep them moving and to avoid large backlogs at certain hubs.

It's the 20th century, there's a world wide pandemic, and through computers it is a miracle we get anything.  They are using trucks, trains, planes and shuffling things around so it's a miracle we get anything.

I can also say the IT people are doing a great job of writing programs that try to figure out where all this stuff is going and how it will get to us!  I can't imagine!

our post office is limiting the hours in the lobby due to the homeless sleeping and harassing customers.
