The OP may have other health issues that keep her from going to the post office.  I remember when I injured my foot.  It was agony for six weeks walking with an orthapedic shoe.  Even going to my mailbox in my condo building was a big chore.

@cjm61 How could they pick just one?  Here in Cleveland, Ohio we've been rated the worst postal system in the US (I read it somewhere, don't remember where).  Another reason I hate when QVC transfers orders to the post office.

We have always had terrible mail service...I get two meds that are classified as controlled substances and they are delivered in the mail as of three months ago.  So far, so good. Our PO is a training center so we get rookies delivering our mail...they are almost always on their phones and oblivious to whose mail they are putting in which box. Since we are on a small street, we just put everyone's mail in the right box. Our mail gets here between 4:30 and 9 pm, if we are lucky.

Btw, when will the postage stamp price increase take effect?

If this is off subject, please ignore.

It's sad that you need anxiety meds to cope with anxiety caused by their delivery.  Smiley Sad

Curious

What happens if they tell you they delivered the meds but you claim you did not receive them?

Can you receive a replacement ASAP. ?

Re: USPS update

[ Edited ]

@catter70  & @others

I also have med/s that require signature.

1)  Oftentimes, the slip left in the Mail Box has a legible number on it.  In that case, I go to the USPS webpage, plug in my Acct Info & that USPS slips Number and they "re Deliver,"  at the time of your choosing.   In this case, they'll oftentimes knock, if it's a USPS re delivery.

2)  I know it's perhaps not right, but my USPS Delivery person wasnt too friendly.  I started giving him a Christmas Bonus of Cash, in his hand, & surprisingly, he's become friendlier, more talkative, & more responsive incl Service Delivery wise.

3) Oftentimes, Mail Order Pharmacies, for a fee, will send the Meds via UPS, for signature, & they can be more responsive.

Oftentimes, esp during these days, I can certainly understand the need for Meds.  And certainly issues with USPS compound the need, most definitely!!

Hope you feel better, & receive much better, reliably accessible service!   Woman Happy
