I feel your pain! I took a pkg. to the post office and mailed it priority on Dec.3. After a week or so I called the recipient-a relative to see if it had arrived. It hadn't. I then checked the tracking number and it had been "delayed" in a state 2,000 miles away! So I checked it again today and it's only 3 states away. I'm hoping it gets there by Christmas! 

And yes I tried the phone route first. Same result but less time waiting and the only answer- recorded,of course was a a non answer. Better luck next time when I send via FedEx rather than usps.
