I got a UPS MyChoice Premium e-mail ad today and in small print there's an automatic renewal announcement. My Premium expired about six months ago and I don't remember seeing autorenewal then. I don't know when this started, but I won't renew, especially given the new UPS horrible customer service.

Mine has always auto renewed.  I keep my packages out of the hands of the USPS as much as possible.

@mspatmac @chrystaltree   Are you referring to MyChoice (free) or MyChoice Premium (paid)?

I have had Premium for 5 years and it has never autorenewed.

I find UPS service nearly flawless in my neighborhood, based on my experience.  My Choice Premium is particularly valuable to me because of my preference for UPS to retain a SurePost package and deliver it directly to me and not hand it off to USPS. SurePost delays are eradicated by My Choice and it's worth it to me.

My subscription (or membership?) to My Choice Premium has always auto-renewed. I get an email notice soon before it's due to renew telling me to "do nothing" if I want it renewed. Else I can initiate cancellation or change method of payment, etc. It's not in the fine print-- the UPS email directly informs me of the renewal.

@gizmogal  Life is strange. Plus I also couldn't decide between subscription and membership so used neither.

@PickyPicky3

I have the Premium (paid) and in my preferences chose auto renew.  You have to actually authorize it.  One less thing to think about.

Always read the fine print....at my age, that isn't very easy!
