more like football money, endorsement money, front row concert tickets is worth a smack every now and then. for some it has nothing to do with self respect it's about the bling.I was speaking in generalities about abusive relationships, and from my personal experiences.
You are making assumptions about this case.
We don't know why she married him.
That was what I was wondering about.
for the $. the perks. it's all gone now.

I was speaking about this woman having so little self respect (and obviously self esteem) that she not only stayed with this horrific abuser - she MARRIED him !

Well that press conference offered little info. Harbaugh skirted the issues.

Exactly.
Abuse often starts with the gradual erosion of self esteem. The abuser slowly picks away until the victim begins to believe she ""deserves"" the punishment. Often threats against family members or friends keeps the victim from running away.
Abuse is such a complicated issue. To blame a victim for not getting away is monstrously unfair.

Let's not forget about the other Ray's domestic abuse. Ray McDonald of the San Francisco 49er's was arrested recently for domestic abuse against his pregnant fiancee. There were bruises on her arms and neck. He still played yesterday, but things could change depending on the outcome of the investigation.

And she should be in divorce court. With the real possibility he will not have huge future paychecks, maybe she'll realize, "I promise I'll never hit you again" is BS.
she shouldn't have married him in the first place. the second he raised a hand she should have walked away. she didn't. now it's on her.We will have to disagree. She stayed it is on her now.
"it?" she married him. it is now on her. she was only engaged to him. after the incident she did not have to say "i do." "it" is on her now.
football money, endorsement money, front row concert tickets were worth a smack every now and then. how long will that last now with the ruling. haha

I wonder why HE married HER???
He obviously was angry enough to knock her out cold in public...where is the love on his part?
Why didn't HE walk away and instead walk down the aisle????
It's on HIM TOO!!!!!

She needs help if she thinks this is ok.
Normally I'd agree, but the pattern points to financial gain more than 'brainwashing'. Watch, she'll be there trying to help him appeal this latest action from the NFL.

To protect his fortune and potentially derail having her testify against him.......
