Not far away, there's a HUGE Chinese cemetery that goes back to the gold rush time. There are incredibly ornate memorials there, You'd like that.

I am SURE I would!
I particularly love Celtic Cross memorials. A neighboring cemetery has a few that are about ten feet high! They are amazing.

One of the most beautiful cemeteries I've ever been to is the San Francisco national cemetery near the presidio.....very serene and beautiful.....used to go there and walk and jog with my little one every chance I got.

@Noel7.....thanks for the follow up on the cemeteries. Very interesting. After reading the list of cemeteries, am sure my sister has been to one of them. Will talk with her this evening and read these 2 posts to her. She will be interested in it too.

You'd love the Embarcadero, it's an area near piers and the SF Bay.
The Embarcadero Center is an area of office towers, hotels and a commerical complex.

I stop and peek in the ones in Maine - looking for relatives! There is a small one along the road to my grandmother's former lake house. It's full of distant relatives.
