I've never received a census survey, but if I did I would delete it.

@SurferWife, do you know the purpose of the census?

@bikerbabe   I went to respond to the other poster but saw your link.

Thank you.  Some are confused that this survey is the general census survey.  The title of this thread is misleading.

Re: U.S. Census Bureau Survey

Responding to Household Pulse Survey is voluntary, although if contacted, the Bureau strongly encourages participation.

Response to the Census Questionnaire (the official population count) is not voluntary. It is mandatory and refusal to participate carries civil financial penalties.

Two different things: Questionnaire (the entire population) versus Survey (a sample of the population. )

Re: U.S. Census Bureau Survey

Went on a bike ride along the bay at dusk last night.  A census worker was knocking door to door.  Unfortunately many of the owners were already gone for the weekend or perhaps the season.

Woke up at about 7 this morning and the same woman was on my street knocking on neighbor's door.  They are gone till next weekend.  Can't believe they hadn't filled out their summer home form, if that's the case.

Could be they had filled it out as I had and still had a census worker knock on my door.  She asked if I would please answer the questions all over again and I did.

It's very important to do.
