Two host presenters

[ Edited ]

I'm not talking about the Q on this, but on one other channel, even a game show, seems that two are used now, where one use to be sufficient.  I'm thinking, in case one becomes ill, another might be a good idea, so they can carry on.

I know when I use to watch some shows where there were diffent opinions, I had to not watch, you couldn't hear anyone. For me, I prefer one on one most of the time for debating type things, other shows, I guess someone to pick up the slack might not be a bad idea.

What do you prefer, does two presenters work for you?

I have no preference regarding the number of hosts.

It's not about the numbers for me, it's about the hosts themselves. Some teams I really like together and some I really don't, same as when they host individually.

I tend to prefer one host. Often times the more aggressive personality wants to take over and drown out the other host. I stopped watching a morning show of fashion on QVC because it was so blatant that it was simply unwatchable.

One host, two hosts, 27 hosts....I don't care.  I only care about what they are selling, not who is doing the selling.  Although if the chemistry between the two hosts is "off", it can be distracting.  But the mute button helps with that.....

As long as they tell me about an item that I'm interested in, I'm pretty easy to please.  If they're more into chatting with each other than giving the info on the item then I'm off the TV.  So, I'd have to say as long as they focus on the item, I don't really have a preference about the number of host.
