Oh, that's too bad! I love Snickers. Don't eat them often, but, when I do, I enjoy!

I recently had a guy reach into my cart and start "helping" me unload my stuff onto conveyor belt at the checkout.
I'm trying to watch the one in front of me being checked out, and now watch this guy too. I tell him to stop, I don't want help, he won't stop.
When I'm unpacking groceries at home, I can't find the 3rd zucchini.
I distinctly recall picking out 3.
Nope, only charged for 2 on the receipt.
That son of a bugger unloaded my cart so he could swipe my zucchini!!
Maybe he was missing his ...

Unfortunately, universal advice doesn't work. Telling "y'all" to have a Snickers bar certainly doesn't work for those with peanut allergies. What one person thinks everyone should do is not only presumptuous, it simply isn't suitable for all. 🙂

Those with peanut allergies could have a Milky Way!
I love those, too😊
I have an aunt, who will soon turn 70. She says she has zero memory, of nut allergies, being an issue, when she was growing up. I'm 48 and, if memory serves, I don't recall
young kids with problems, growing up. I did know a couple of kids with serious allergies,in high school.
I'm an RD and I've heard lots of opinions, on why nut allergies, seem to be a somewhat recent major issue.

@JaneMarple I'm beginning to think that the Snickers bar isn't what is needed.

This is such a sad report. And, some of the replies brought things to mind. My first thought is, what have we come to when the placement of a plastic bar elicits this type of behavior? Why must some people use physical aggression over something such as this? Why do some people immediaterly react to situations rather than waiting and calming themselves down? And, the list of questions about responses such as this could become a long list.
Some seniors may have a slight degree of dementia and behave in ways they never would have before. And, some seniors are repeating behaviors that they exhibited all their lives. My Mom had Alzheimer's, but because she was congenial, cooperative, and passive they did not put her on the Alzheimer's wing, as some of those residents were combative with others. My sister-in-law's mother was on an Alzheimer's wing and had her arm broken by another resident when he was raging.
Personally, I always put the bar down when I have all my groceries on the belt, even if no one is behind me. By the time my groceries are completely checked and bagged someone might have gotten in line and then the bar is there for their use.
Maybe we need to remember the golden rule---Treat Others as You Would Want to be Treated.
Peace to all.
