Looks like the set QVC is selling today is 'Imported'. This, more often than not, means 'made in China'. I hate that they stopped putting the specific info as to origin. It just seems wrong.
Used to be that, in this country anyway, it was all made in the US. When I was living in Europe I bought some that was made in Belgium, in the mid 70s. I still have that original large yellow bowl. Remember that one? It was the largest bowl that was soft yellow with a clear seal. Down the road they made them in more colors.

@chickenbutt - I still have that bowl! Way back.....in the 80's, it was in our break room cabinets at work. We were moving our office, packing, and no one claimed that bowl so I brought it home. When I make my pasta salad , for the masses, that's the bowl I use.

How cool! I figured that somebody else here just had to have that bowl. I haven't used it in forever so it's actually still in pristine condition after all these decades. I pretty much just use L&L now for stuff that I store. But I just keep the bowl because I like it. I have some other pieces I've also had for about that long.

Was that the bowl that Tupperware called the "Wowsa Bowl"? If so, I had it for many years but never seemed to use it much so I donated it. My SIL had many Tupperware parties in the 70's so I purchased many items. Some of them I still have but many have been donated. A couple of them I wished I had kept. They were unique and you can't find them today.

I realize this is different, but kinda the same.
I am constantly looking for toys for my daughter's dog.
Every single thing I see sold everywhere says those words, "made in China".
Come on! We all know they don't have laws protecting what chemicals they use to make these toys.
I remember several months ago someone on here said she'd accidentally put a dog toy in her mouth and it was terrible pain. She said her mouth was burning really bad.
My daughter and her dog are visiting here from Colorado for a few months. She went to the store and got the dog some toys.
The labels all say, "Made in China".
It's impossible to find anything other than the "My Pillow" stuff that's actually made in the US.
I always look at the QVC label on clothes. The other day I actually read "Made in Vietnam" and I think I saw something that said, "Made in Taiwan"; but they were one piece of clothing....one!

@Annabellethecat66 Most of the D&C tees I've gotten the past year or longer have not been made in China. I've figured if they cost $39. they are non-Chinese but if they're $49+ they probably are made in China and the difference is the tariff.
I must add, I personally don't give a hoot where this stuff is made.
