Thank you everyone and yes we were very grateful and kept telling him the truck can be replaced. The truck that hit him also left the scene. And the trooper mentioned it would've been a lot worse if he didn't have the bumper he had. We will eventually put one on his truck as well.

His new truck is the same year and model so everything he was able to recover should fit perfectly.

I am happy your son was ok. My dad use to say you can replace a car but not a human being.. Wishing your son the best of health going forward.

My son in law has this model and it's great. He's been buying Ram trucks for years now and he's never had any problems. Good luck to you son (and you)!

Man across from me lives and breathes trucks.  He has about 5 of them.  One to go to work in.  A nicei clean white one to drive the family to church.  One old rust black one to haul dirty stuff.  Doesn't own any cars.One more to do his side job.  For cash, he'll fix your truck.
