Will you be taking your Emotional Support Chicken with you on the flight?![]()

I wouldn't get near an airport, train or flying squirrel. People can go any time other then knowing in advance it will be a nightmare. I don't feel sorry for anybody who intentionally puts themselves in that predicament then wonder why it's a nightmare. Common sense is in short supply

@lolakimono......better this than PRUNES..... Sorry, I couldn't resist. LOL

Hey if an emotional support chicken, keeps travelers calm and well behaved, I'm, "on board"!

Just saw this on the news....considering what chickens go through, they are the ones who need emotional support. I have seen videos of chickens showing affection for their owners.

It's not really a chicken, though, right?
I'm thinking it's either a box of fried chicken, or it's just about the funny box.
Very cute! ![]()

I had to Google to see if it was for real. LOL!!!
Found this online at USA Today.
Just in time for the busy holiday travel season, Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen is offering flyers its own brand of comfort and reassurance in the air with the launch of its "Emotional Support Chicken."
Starting Tuesday and for a limited time, travelers passing through Terminal C of Philadelphia International Airport can purchase the high-flying fowl – a fried chicken meal in a specially designed, chicken-themed carrier box, perfect for taking onto the next flight.
“We know holiday travel can be frustrating, and there’s no better way to ease stress than with a box of delicious Popeyes fried chicken and a good laugh,” said Hope Diaz, the company’s chief marketing officer, in a statement.
At $8.49, the Emotional Support Chicken tenders meal is the same price as its earth-bound kin.

Shoot. I flew today without support. There was a cat in a carrier and a dog on a leash on the plane though.

I had a pet chicken as a child. Affection? I don't think so. Although it did lay eggs. On the clothesline. Chickens aren't real bright. Trust me.
Edited to ad: I had a parakeet too. He lived 9 years and he was affectionate and smart, and a friend's conure was absolutely smitten with me. But chickens? Still don't think they are affectionate.

@phoenixbrd Did you see that video of the chicken that meets the school bus every afternoon? The girl who lives there gets off the bus and the chicken is waiting.
I can probably find it, if you haven't seen it.
