Great idea for hand cream gifts. I give campus coffee shop gift cards for my 3 office mates at work and adding a hand cream to the card would be perfect. Who doesn't like ginger? At work our division office mates go out to a movie for half day for our holiday party. Faculty Dean (my boss) is a theatre major and we have this joke -- our holiday party is sitting together in the dark and not speaking. It's always a Star Wars or something. But terrific.

Our KS (where I work) Trader Joe's doesn't sell wine. Our MO (where I live) Trader Joe's does sell wine. They must think people living in the state of Misery need it. Bad joke. I'll stop.

I go to Whole Foods fairly often, but never have been to the Trader Joe's since it is about 10 miles further south of us.

Does anyone go to both stores and can share the difference? I'm wondering if there a big enough difference to make it worth the trek...

I love Trader Joe's also. Their produce is top notch and I enjoy looking through the cheese section. There is always one I have not tried. I have never been been disappointed with anything I have purchased. Like another poster noted, the parking is horrendous at times. That just lets me know, others like it as much as I do.

The Trader Joe’s here is just a few miles away...but they built it in-between two other large stores so the parking is impossible...I don’t think their parking area holds more than a dozen cars. If I want a nice seasonal treat, I go to World Market and buy a tin of their authentic gingersnaps.. They are made in Sweden and you get a ton of them in the large tin. They are like ginger snaps but very thin and crisp. I always take a tin of them when I visit people during the holidays....and they are always constantly reaching for one throughout my visit! You can order them online but I can’t imagine how they would arrive intact since they are so thin.

For the holidays they usually offer a three pack of different hand creams. Their body cream is really nice also, although I’m not interested in the staple coconut or current pumpkin versions. Loved their cucumber avocado this summer.

Actually, they usually do a set of three different body butters for the holidays too. Thanks to a poster here, I’ve used their nourish shampoo and conditioner for years!

And thankfully they sell them in a $.99 package so I don’t have to eat a whole carton at once 🤭

I love Trader Joe's!  I recently relocated out of state & was ecstatic to find it at my new home!  I am addicted to their Pancake Bread, omg.  To quote, "...a twist on a buttermilk short stack, moist loaf...".  It is devine with my morning coffee.

Oh my, yes!!!  I love their mac and cheese but I love the Guiltless M&C.   I bought the regular one time just to check it out and didn't like it.  But the Guiltless is great.

I love TJ and shop there mainly but the store I really love is World Market.   I got a text from them this morning saying Happy Birthday.  Come in and get 15% off for the month of November. They have such different and such interesting things.  Lots of our house is from World Market.

I used to live near a Trader Joe's.  I moved to Petticoat Junction a couple of years ago and the nearest TJ's in 35 mi. away.  What a haul.  I do miss going and checking everything out.

My fav snack was the thai chile and lime spicy cashews.  The more you eat them the better they taste.  Their frozen desserts were always a bargain too.  The NY style cheesecake, the carrot cake, chocolate mousse....all very delicious and reasonably priced.
