Since many of you have already gone through this . . . what is the easiest way to track eligible expenses for use of 529 money for college expenses? Daughter has earned quite a few scholarships, full tuition plus a few others . . . so thinking we will have a lot leftover or need to transfer to son or give to her and pay tax penalty or ??? Or hang on to it and wait and see if she needs it for further educational opportunities?
Is there a website or cheat sheet for quick but yet broad rules & regs?
