I was at Macys last week and saw a cute ring and it was my size so I decided to try it on. It was attatched to a cardboard card and when I tried to get it off I couldn't get it over my knuckle. I tried for a minute and then started to feel panicky. My finger was turning purple. I called a saleperson over and she ran over and got some handcream and it still wouldn't budge. A couple of more salepeople came over and one got out a boxcutter and started cutting but my finger was underneath and I was afraid she might cut through the cardboard and slice my finger off. Someone finally got a pair of small scissors and was able to release the cardboard and then the handcream worked and I was able to get the ring off. The saleperson said it has happened before and because the rings are attached to a piece of cardboard, it makes the ring a half size smaller. Never again---no matter how cute!!
