I'm disheartened to read that fellow posters, after being unceremoniously dumped, are not only willing to return, but are grateful to be taken back.

Some of our most caring fellow posters gave their time and expertise to provide us with a forum that is not overly monitored, restrictive, and arbitrary.

Re: Too Little Too Late

I disagree. QVC made a mistake, realized it, and is fixing it.

That said, I do hope the new board stays up. It looks good and has additional features that this board doesn't have. I intend to post on both esp since at some point this board will go down.

While this board is heavily monitored, as I've already expressed here, moderation on the new board comes with different issues. Nothing is perfect. The ladies worked hard to set it up so I hope they keep it available.

Why the drama @occasionalrain posters asked to keep it open and they listened. Now everyone has a choice they can go to the new board, or stay here. or both.

My only suggestion is to allow us to have debates, and conversations without poofing. As long as there is no cursing, threats, or bullying let us have the conversation. Stop with the censorship.

Personally, I think both forums have different highlights. I guess I would call myself a flexible person. I am always willing to accept change. I plan to post on both forums and I am very appreciative of the efforts of Mellyg and staff for their efforts.💐💝

The advantage of QVC keeping the forums open is I won't lose touch with the community of posters who planned not to participate on the Mellyg forum. It's all good....⭐️

@manny2

No drama. She's just expressing what she - and many of us - feel. It's just a different opinion from those celebrating QVC for keeping the forums open.

Good luck on your second paragraph.

But does anybody really think they listened?  This is a large corporation and decisions don't just go away at the drop of a hat.

But the thought of losing a whole lot of sales at the biggest time of the year would make a huge difference for annual sales.

Reading the verbage for this is rather cryptic, as others have mentioned, so I don't really think they are saying what some seem to think they are saying.

Oh my gosh, so many complaints about the boards shutting down and now complaints about them staying open, complaints about the way posters are responding, complaints about who, what, where, when and why.
