@Desert Lily   Thank you very much. I'm glad that you enjoy seeing my Toni creations.  It is fun for me.

How wonderful that your grandmother sewed for you and made a poodle skirt. I would have loved to have one, when I was a little girl.

@Enufstuff  you have an incredible life story and have obviously made every minute count with your arts. You've blessed others, most importantly your children, with lovingly made creations. I wish you many more happy hours doing what you want to do while your vision is reliable. I was touched about you sharing all of this. May your Katie bring you love and support at this challenging time!

@Posh Poodle    Thank you so much. Katie is my sweet girl.

Years ago, one of my aunts had a toy Poodle, she was black.

She was a ball of energy and so cute.

The first time I saw her, she was so excited and jumping like she had springs on her feet. I was surprised how high she could jump. That must be why Poodles were always the breed we would see, performing tricks on TV or in a circus.

I don't remember ever seeing my Cocker Spaniel jump.

Yes, @Enufstuff , that is my rescue poodle, Baby Ruth! She's the most loving, thankful little poodle. I just love her! Thank you so much. Being a poodle mom is the greatest joy of my life.

@Posh Poodle Awww...your little pup looks just like my little Gidget that I grew up with (she was silver and had a pretty face like Ruth). We had her for 17 yrs and it broke my heart when we lost her. She was a spitfire in her younger years and provided us with so much joy.

@Enufstuff  we've also had a black poodle, like your family. Her name was Mocha. She lived to be 18.5 years old! And she had an attitude let me tell you. Mocha is more of my husband's poodle and Nutmeg and Baby Ruth mine. But we love them all dearly, even though Nutmeg & Mocha are no longer with us physically--for now. But I am confident we will be reunited one day, never to part. And I pray the same for you and your furry family members.

@LuvSoCal  I'm sorry for your loss. The grief hits you deep but the love between you and a fur child is deeper. Thank you for complimenting Baby Ruth. I tell her all the time she has the prettiest possum face in the whole wide world. Gidget is a cute name!

@Enufstuff  I used to in my younger years.  Spent many a weekend milling around the square. Out of Town News  where you could get the newspapers from places all around the word.  Loved The Harvard Museum. and the Christmas Revels at the Sanders Theater.

Pinocchio's pizza,  Grendel's Den,  Art supplies from the COOP.  Comic book shop and The Science Fantasy Bookstore On the second floor. ( RIP "Spike."  You are remembered by Many.)

Didn't spend much time in Central square but went to  The Off the Wall Cinema and Cafe. a few times.

Went to the MFA  several times but I admit I Prefer the Salem Peabody Essex Museum better.

Nice thing about the Boston area , you Can get around to a lot of places on the T.

( provided it's running )

@Posh Poodle

Poodles rule!

Best in Show at the Westminster Kennel Club 2024, is a black miniature Poodle,

Surrey Sage.

Her great grandmother , Surrey Spice, also a

black miniature Poodle, won Best in Show in 2002.

Toni and Collette are so happy to see this year's winner.
