@Enufstuff

So happy things seem to be normal again.  I'm sure you were holding your breath for test results.

My cats would NEVER eat any prescription food, so I'm happy Katie will eat chicken.

I was always so anxious when one of them wouldn't eat.

I'm sure you will do whatever is necessary to keep her healthy and happy.  Cat Happy

@Witchy Woman@SportyShorty07   Thank you so much. It was frustrating, waiting to hear from the vet for six days. It is a relief, that

she seems to be back to her normal self.

 The vet suggested trying senior food and Katie is liking that. I haven't tried the k/d food yet. It seems that most cats do not like it, from what I've heard and read.

It is a low phosphorus food. I spoke to the vet about adding a phosphorus binder to Fancy Feast, as I have read about other

people doing that and she said that would work.

After I see our PC vet, I will try the k/d food and see if Katie will accept that. If not , I'll get the phosphorus binder.

@Enufstuff  Thank you for the update, Enuffstuff Smiley Very HappyHeart! I am so glad that all of her tests came back negative and that little Frisky Girl Katie is back to her playful and happy self.  She's been through the ringer this past week and I'm glad that you both can relax and make subtle adjustments to her diet from now on- such a blessing that its a simple switch to chicken that will do the trick instead of a surgery or meds for her.  I bet she loved the chicken that you made her Smiley Happy.  She's a very healthy cat, she's resilient, and she's back on an upswing after a worrisome week.  Hooray Katie cat! Smiley Very HappyHeart
