I have just gotten home from work and turned on the TV while cooking something for dinner.  They were presenting TSV.  I laughed out loud!!  How tacky.....plastic flowers with lights for $50+ that you can find at Walmart.

One of the forums has a thread about this.  Some people actually like them

I didn't see them so, I have no opinion, but I wouldn't start a thread offending someone elses taste

@Double-D@cherry

May I just say that I own a BL red gardenia hanging basket that has been outside for at least 5 years. It hangs there all year long and has not faded or frayed. Real-looking (IMO) silk flowers are hard to find (sorry HL and craft store stuff looks like garbage to me)... so I understand the cost of really good artificial stuff.

Some day I might start up my own shop just so I can have access to the market (in Dallas) for this greenery and stuff.

Ever wonder why PB looks so great? This would be why.

While we are all entitled to our opinion, why is it that some posters just have to be nasty while expressing theirs?  Just say you don't care for it and leave it at that.  Although I doubt the shoppers who did purchase the TSV (myself included) will be wringing our hands losing any sleep over the OP's opinion.

Well, y'know...starting a thread (with an ambiguous title of course) to say Today's Special Value - It doesn't appeal to me, is kinda...why? So it has to be OTT so people will notice.

Meh.

What causes me to laugh out loud is those posters who have never even seen the item in person or purchased them who proclaim you can get someting cheaper at Walmart or other places!   Personally, I would never buy artificial flowers at Walmart or even a craft store as I would want quality over cheapness!  I have never known Walmart or other cheap stores to carry anything remotely close with lights and a timer and quality that lasts outdoors for many years!

I have to admit, I laughed when I saw it too. I will always prefer real to fake.  To each his own.

I like the TSV.  If I didn't have one from years ago that didn't look brand new, I'd get it.

@brandiwine

Why would you laugh and then insult those who like it?

I don't have florals but I do know they are very In now because there are so many high quality artistic examples nowadays.
