Any of you who get massages, do you tip the masseuse. (Hope I spelled that correctly). What would be an appropriate tip? Our gym had free 10 minute massages and I was in heaven.

I always tip 20%. If your getting them for free I think I would give at least a $10 tip.

I haven't gotten one in awhile. I (and my family) got them once a week or two weeks.
Because she owned her own business and it was just her, we didn't tip her. I figured she charged what she wanted. We made sure she realized how happy we were with her but it didn't make sense to tip her since it was just her.

In heaven would easily be 20%.

If not in a spa or resort situation, I usually tip 15%. A massage at a spa/resort/vacation I tip 20%.

I generally tip 15-18% for massage, nails, pedi, waxing, & hair.

Unfortunately, it's a tipping world now. I don't think it should be mandatory but it is.
When we were at a resort last year, the gratuity was included in my bill... 18%. When I get spa service here, I give 15 to 20% tip at the reception desk because that's the way the two places I go do it. Lol, I even asked once, "are you sure she's going to get it".
At restaurants, its 20%. I don't give anything for take out food.

For a free 10 min massage, I might tip $3 (10 min is not long).
For a paid hour massage, I tip 20%. If I'm especially pleased I tip 25%. I tend to tip those giving massages highly, if they've given me what I consider a very feel-good massage. Same with facials. The more pampering, the more extras, the bigger the tip.
