circling back to say, I tried with the planners and calendars but they just were not for me

they do look so tempting tho with all the pages and places to fill in

but I have a little clipboard for my today list

it's fun 😊 can be kind of a hobby. You might be surprised at the number of tidbits you will jot down. Lists. Ideas. Plans. I wrote in the notes section in January, a few things I wanted to work on this year. Personal goals.  Every few months I add an update on how it's going. This is just for my own edification, no one else will ever see it.

I already ordered my 2027 calendars in July from Calendars dot com!

Every year I buy a towel calendar to hang in the kitchen, and one for other family members.

For my personal use I have a small pocket calendar, usually for two years. I mark down important dates and appointments.

I also purchase the Cynthia Hart Victoriana calendar--we have every pretty calendar since they started creating them.

I already have almost all of my 2027 travel planned, although some not in great detail yet.

Now I am finalizing tickets for events such as the ballet, symphony, concerts, etc.

I am a VERY organized and focused planner!

I use the At a Glance 2-Yr calendars for my purse.  That works best for me, especially if I need to go back and find something. I like seeing each month in full.

I recently was trying to figure out when I had a particular medical procedure done.  Due to how I wrote it in my calendar, I would've never found it had it been in my phone digitally.  Nope, I didn't write down Colonoscopy.  I wrote down what time I needed to be at the hospital.  I was able to go back into my old calendars (yes, I keep them all), and find exactly when my last colonoscopy was.

We're all wired differently, and no one way is overall better.

@Icegoddess  I save them too - for 5 or 6 years.  They come in handy sometimes.

I have a calendar on the fridge but also make note of things on the calendar on my IPad, I have yet to figure out the calendar on my IPhone.

I live by our wall calendar on the side of the refrigerator!  First thing I do each morning, even before coffee, is look at the calendar for the days " to do" list.

@smoochy  Most of my planners are undated but I couldn't resist the purple florals of Kellofaplan's new 2027 Whimsical Blooms dashboard layout planner.

I started an undated Faith Planner on September 1st, from Happy Planner's Rise & Align line. And I began Scripture Writing, which doesn't require buying a thing, but I came across Copy Bible and it is perfect. I am doing Ruth & Esther now. I will definitely order another when I've completed these two books.

Lots of beautiful stickers... I'm still working on being a sticker gal... lol

this all sounds so interesting 😊 the discipline to stick with any Christian/faith based daily activity is admirable.

I have perused the Happy Planners-some pretty cool offerings 😍

@smoochy  - Consistency is a challenge, especially when my schedule is different than usual.

I knew I needed & wanted to do more related to the Bible but I wasn't sure how to choose and then I learned about Scripture Writing. Copying the Bible word for word... Handwriting forces us to slow down and it allows for better understanding and memory.

I'm down to just getting one mini wall calendar that's 'animal babies'.   I really don't need it but I like having it there on the end of one of my kitchen cabinets where some prior owner of the house put a hook in the wood.   I'd have never put a hook on the outside of  my cabinets, but at least using it makes it less awful.  Smiley Happy

I probably use the calendar the most a few times a day when I'm trying to remember what day it is when I'm planning kitchen stuff.  Smiley Very Happy
