in other words, its time to select our 2027 planners and calendars. I love these! Great fun to peruse all the choices, features etc. In the olden days of good vision, I carried small pocket sized planners in my purse. Now I need bigger font, bigger everything haha 😄

This year Ive been using the Livewell 7x9 planner by Blue Sky. It has so many cool features. Too big to lug around. Stays on my side table next to couch. I also put appts in my phone calendar so I can reference those if Im at an appt that will need a follow-up. My paper planner is the back up to the phone-like many Boomers I feel "safer" having written backup to digital tech.

DH and I share a wall calendar in the kitchen. That way I know his work schedule and whatever else he is doing .For the wall calendar I like something with nature scenes or city scapes.

Another nice planner brand is Graphique de France. Fun covers and sticker pages (Snoopy, love ❤️)

So how do you plan your life?

I gave up paper planners once digital calendars became more functional, but I still like to browse all the products because they are so pretty.

Re: Time to plan ;)

I like the At-A-Glance brand monthly planners - I buy a bigger one for home and one for my purse.  I mainly need the purse one for my brother - I take him to his appointments and mark them down at/when we finish the appt.  Then transfer to the bigger planner too.  I got him one of the small planners last year - he loves it.

I used to use their bigger wall calendar - for myself, hubby, grandson but now the planner is enough.

Thanks for the reminder tho - time to reorder!

I enjoy jotting little notes, lists and whatnot. Also i love using stickers. Yes like a ten year old haha. With a paper planner I can indulge myself. Ok not gonna lie-I decorate the wall calendar with stickers too

@FranandZoe  - lol you are my calendar twin!! I do the same thing: large monthly calendar for home and small one for my purse for making appointments.

My "system" easily keeps me organized. Very simple. All my appointments, birthdays, due dates for CDs, monthly bills to be paid, streaming service subscriptions are listed so I always know what needs to be done and what has been completed.

I have used e-calendars in the past but always kept my paper one too. And when I retired, I found that I didn't use the e-calendar. I know it's old fashioned but, at my age, that's what I am! Everyone should do what works for them.

So far I've received 4 wall calendars from various charities.  I will keep a couple--I do use them--and donate the others.

I keep a big calendar on my frig, a jorurnal type on my desk, and a pocket calendar in my purse.  I still struggle with keeping track of where I'm going. . . The one on  my desk also has often used addresses, what books I've read this year, birthdays & anniverseraries I want to remember, order's I've placed, sporting schedules, etc.  I try very hard to be organized - I'm a work in progress!

Love purse size At-A-Glance calenders and keep one close by when at home or out. It is a "to do list" for things to be done on or before certain dates in addition to a note of appointments, zoom meetings, social activitis, etc. I use it at tax time to access information related to dates of medical appointments.

I actually finally moved to the iPad calendar.

I get a kick out of the daily reminder check offs and adding deliverys and appointment reminders to it.

It's my morning and evening check off list for each day that I completely customize myself.
