Hawaii does not observe Daylight Saving Time and neither does Arizona (although the Navajo Nation, in northeastern Arizona, does). For many years, most of Indiana did not observe Daylight Saving Time with the exception of 10 counties. Beginning in 2006, all of Indiana now observes Daylight Saving Time. None of the US dependencies observe DST. This includes American Samoa, Guam, Puerto Rico, Northern Mariana Islands, the US Minor Outlying Islands, and the US Virgin Islands.

my thoughts are that we should be on standard time all year long. forget changing the clocks and let mother nature do everything naturally. absolutely no need for it.

@patbzwrote:I live in Arizona and almost the entire state (minus Navajo nation) is always on standard mountain time. Our only problem are adjoining states .CA is an hour earlier during daylight savings and NM is an hr later during daylight savings time but both states are on same time as we are for part of the year. Everyone should stick to standard time all of the time!
I also live in Arizona. I don’t have kids or grandkids but I’m not aware of the little darlings going to school in the dark at any time of the year. It might not be full sunlight at whatever time they go to school but it isn’t full darkness either. Pick a time and stick with it.

I don't mind DST because I like longer days in the summer. But I don't like switching to it in mid March. I'm not a morning person and hate having to get up in the dark on the days I work. It was just getting to be a little light when I get up and BAM here we go back to darkness.
Switch it in May or June for the summer or go to to standard time. Fine with me.

I
DST! The switching of 1 hour doesn't bother me at all and I LOVE more light at the end of the day. There is more time to be out doing things I enjoy doing!
I would vote to keep the schedule the way it is, because there really isn't a point to it anyway in winter. Days are so short and it's often too cold to be out anyway.

I read a funny question today: why can’t they schedule the time change lost hour for a Monday during work hours?

LOVE DST... I've always wished for it to be year 'round.
