There was a Barbara positive thread; did everyone post on it?
I did. But even the positive threads attract posters who try to ruin them. I remember a Happy Birthday, Billy Graham thread a few months ago and a few choice posters enjoyed ruining the well wishes by bringing up something negative that Billy did or said over 40 years ago.

If you look really hard, you'll see plenty of threads with uplifting stories. Just be sure to reply to keep them active.
Good points, Topaz Gem. Some people do seem to revel in watching for the "gotcha moments," and there aren't too many of those in an uplifting discussion. Also, I think those who try to start positive threads become disheartened by the lack of response

I didn't see a ""Barbara"" thread when I signed in.

Then there are the accusations of bragging or lying that show up on the positive ones.

I know I do. It's really a shame. And disheartening. Why can't we all just be uplifting? Like Barbara (are we talking Walters or Bush here? - nevermind, either works). I'm thinking of changing my username to Fluffy329 now that I know it's available. . .

Bush and it was about the friendship between her husband and Hillary's Bill.

Yes, and there were a few other Barbara threads lately. One about her hospital stay and another when she was released from the hospital, I believe.

I've actually met them both. Bill and George. Not Hilary. Or Barbara Walters. I'm not sexist though. I would have met them if given the opportunity. Probably.
