I was just considering it since Topaz Gem (if her signature can be believed - you know how unreliable information on discussion boards can be) indicates that she was formerly Fluffy329.
My dear aunt who is now passed away (3/29/2012) was called Fluffy because of her outrageous hair styles. I just thought it would be a nice homage.
But, then again, that might not be appropriate and I don't want to anger the spirit world. Last thing I need is to be haunted by that old bag. Don't worry, that was another term of endearment that my uncle used for her.

I don't know why but you have a way that cracks me up.
OK...I meant once a nic has been used it is not available to be used by another poster.

What??? I think you're confusing me with someone else. I was never Fluffy329 and never stated that I was. When I had to change my nickname many years ago due to a board upgrade, I put my old nickname in my signature line to let everyone know who I was.

Croemer, wasn't ShowMe the poster that previously had the Fluffy329 nickname?

I don't know about thread titles being bad but I find it hilarious that people can't wait to run to the computer and be the first to post "breaking news.." meanwhile four others did too..and they all say " I looked first.." LOL Like nobody has any access to outside news sources that I would rely on somebody posting it here..
How many Housewives threads do I skip..plenty lol. But seriously people really get that into that junk that they have to post about it? I come here for fun and reading.
If I wanted to be preached to I would go to Church. If I wanted inspiration I would open a inspirational site. If I wanted to play a game I would go to Game Forum..If I wanted to read about TV shows I would go to Entertainment lol..If I wanted to discuss sports..guess where I would head..lol
I don't find the need to beat a dead horse. I give my opinion aka viewpoint and that is it. But some come back and pound and pound away thinking they are right (don't we all lol) and just can't let it go. An opinion is that and I am not going to change mine because somebody beat a dead horse.
People get upset at poofing when they KNOW that the topic is not allowed but still wonder "why" it went bye bye.
Other topics which interest me and the responses is not the topic, but other poster's response is more in line with WHO posted it and not what was posted.
For example..there is this one poster who took a beating and does every time she posts a pic of her grandchild..but there is another poster who posted her new grandchild and didn't take the pounding that the one poster did. Again it was WHO posted and not what was posted.
Seriously though no joking aside..how many posted about the Seahawks the other night..lol..
I can easily skip all the topics I don't like and do..

Topaz Gem, it's in ShowMe's siggy: "Formerly Fluffy329"
Judging by the questionable nickname chosen, and some of the posts, this "new poster" appears to be trying to play games. (I hope it's not intended to be at someone's expense.)

So, is this a situation like when Richie and Potsie and Joanie and Mr. and Mrs. C. all claimed to be Fonzie? Fluffy329 is everyman!! I dig it.
Slightly off topic, but I never realized how many names in that show ended in 'ie' before. . .

Well, if you're not interested in spiritual inspiration, games, current events and news, TV shows or sports, what the heck do you want to talk about?
Maybe you should start threads on subjects that interest YOU. That's what everyone else does and that's why there's such a diverse collection of topics in VP, because we're all different.

I guess it's in the eye of the beholder. I see a good mix of topics here.
This is called Viewpoints, after all, not Sunnybrook Farm.
