Too bad its come to this. Social media grants people the opportunity to hide behind their computer screens to say things they'd never say to someone in person. Sad.

It does not bother me at all when thread titles in caps certainly does not seem rude - why would you think that - in fact easier to read.

It doesn't bother me - I think sometimes it's because the poster is excited....

Anything that makes it easier to read is fine with me, this is just manufactured outrage .

I wonder why something like that would annoy some one so much.....I see nothing wrong with it at all. In fact I like it better when the title of the thread stands out. It doesn’t necessarily mean someone’s screaming for attention. Lol
Internet etiquette says to type in all caps is considered yelling and it is rude.
Google it.

How do you know that about a poster's life?

Has nothing to do w/social media. It's just the way the internet has always worked/been used since some man invented AOL (America OnLine) & Usenet. ![]()

Well a huge mea culpa from me! I started a thread about a song and to my utter SHAME, I used caps! Flog me with a wet noddle until I learn my lesson!!!!
There is one poster whose name I know who does type all in caps due to very poor vision.
Lucky me, I've got bigger things to think about!!!

lol, did I say this was the most annoying thing in my life?
I didn't even say it was annoying. I asked why posters do it and remarked that I think it's rude.
I think I'm seeing why I rarely even start a thread on these boards. People are ready with their stock retorts which make little sense.

I agree. I want everyone to be able to read the topics in the forums. Bold, CAPS, Font Size or whatever it takes for the forums to be inclusive.
Thank you
