Oh, I'm just being silly. Said I was too shy to post in caps.
But no too shy to stick out my tongue!

With all of the problems in the world today, contesting the size of type for a title to a thread on a chat board is so trivial, it is ludicrous. The accusation and negative remarks added insult to injury to all of the fellow posters who use caps in their title.
Thank you. You are a voice of reason. ![]()

I have no problem with the ALL CAPS thread titles and I don't find it rude at all.
However, on the topic of Thread Titles: the ones I think are rude as those that give no indication at all what the topic is about. The ones that say "I Just Heard..." or " Did You See This..." or "Wow, Look at That...." It's as if the OP is attempting to coerce you into opening the thread.
When I initiate a thread I always attempt to make the topic very clear in the title, so those not interested in the subject matter can just easily avoid it.
I've taken to not opening threads where the topic isn't clear, which is probably the OP's opposite intent.

Getting serious for a minute....I see Netiquette much like I see Etiquette. Some people try to follow all rules. Some think some rules are meant to be broken, and some set their own rules. I rather imagine there are times when most of us have been"guilty" of all of these!

@croemer, when you run into a situation like the yellow text highlight it (as though you were selecting it to copy) and it will be readable.
