Yeah, that's it. I am starved for attention.

I agree. Child bashing is always a sure-fire draw, one of several for this board.
Hi, Noel. It's one of a list of topics we can be assured will be repeated. I'll wager most of us could list the frequent-flier subjects.
Probably those issues that really have no definitive resolution, or otherwise hold our attention. Though repetitious, they always get plenty of responses so I suppose that tells us there's always going to be interest. Otherwise, the thread would slowly drop down the page and vanish from our sight.

That is not fair to the OP. Many have noticed that discipline and good manners seem to be declining these days. Its difficult and dangerous to take very young children into small and crowded shops with many breakable items.
I really don't think we need to over analyze the sign, I have seen many similar ones in shops. Basically it means don't let your kids run amuck in the store!!

Parents don't control how a child acts out in public.
We teach them right from wrong and manners. We have no control how they reflect it.
Blaming a parent for their kids behavior is ridiculous. There is no way of knowing which kid who misbehaves was properly guided by their parents.
Kids are NOT always a reflection of their parent's love.
Like any adult, sometimes a kid will just have a bad day.

They must since they take everything they read and hear literally or so it seems.

My son's friend had a profoundly disabled child, both physically and mentally. She also had two older children and another child who was a year younger, beautiful, bright and intelligent. Her brother required quite a bit of time and attention, which was hard for her to understand at times.
She would act up sometimes, both at home and (oh, the horror) in public. Should my son's friend have never gone out? As a single mom, she had limited resources, both financially and in terms of relief.
Walk a mile in someone else's shoes before judging. That's all.
And, btw, her disabled child died shortly after his twelfth birthday. We still miss him. And the brat? She's an honor student and one of the best kids I've ever known.
I love this reese......![]()
PS.....my kids were well behaved and mannered when I went out, was visiting or I had company. They are adults now and I still get compliments on how polite they are.
School and home was another issue.
