Parents don't control how a child acts out in public.

We teach them right from wrong and manners. We have no control how they reflect it.

Blaming a parent for their kids behavior is ridiculous. There is no way of knowing which kid who misbehaves was properly guided by their parents.

Kids are NOT always a reflection of their parent's love.

Like any adult, sometimes a kid will just have a bad day.

Yes definitely,.kids will be kids,it is up to their parents to teach them it is not ok to scream, run around destroying property, throwing tantrums, and making everyone miserable.....they need to be taught, that is where the love comes in,...loving them enough to inconveniece ourselves, to take them outside, to the car, home, whatever it takes......they are worth it

That's what the sign said. {#emotions_dlg.blush}

Yep, that is what I thought too,lol.

I do think a parent who will stop everything for the sake of attending to a child in need is showing love. You love them enough to stop whatever it is you are doing to let them know it is inappropriate....even if it means giving up what you were in there for. It's called sacrificing what you want for what is best for that child. It prepares them socially and aids them in fitting into a society where not everyone will love them and accept them (warts and all ) like mom and dad do.

So true. I was at Big Lots yesterday when a kid went ballistic because grandma wouldn't buy her something. Took her outside to, I guess her mama, and then she behaved enough to be taken to the bathroom.

Naw,....just stating my take on it again,lol.....lots of us are repetitive around here,lol..... .I actually wonder if people who were not disciplined in a loving way as they were growing up, realize it is a act of love,.....and I do realize there are all kinds of reasons for kids to misbehave.

Hi, Gato!{#emotions_dlg.thumbup1} Since the guessing game has been introduced again, several have guessed Billie (eta: on other threads). I don't recall posting that much with her, so I wouldn't even know if that makes sense, but that name has been mentioned numerous times in association with the "new" nickname.
