I was telling my mom about your boots and your "unsolved mystery".  She told me that just last week she went to look for her boots and couldn't find them anywhere.  She is a highly organized person and just couldn't understand it. Finally, a few hours later, she found them in a box marked Summer shoes on one side and Boots on the other.  She had the Summer shoe side facing out and since the Boots side was facing the wall she never gave it another thought. Finally, in desperation, she went through all her boxes and found them in the Summer shoe/boot box.  

I just hung up the phone with her a few minutes ago. She was laughing "with" you....not "at" you. Ha!  I am supposed to call her when you find them....or maybe "if' you find them!

Great story!  Good for your mom.  I've looked through all of my summer items with zero results.  I've not given up and will continue to re-examine every nook and cranny.

You'd better believe I'm going to post when I find these (now) infamous boots!!!
