Employers who list a position as an ENTRY LEVEL position after listing numerous experience requirements.
Essentially they are saying, "We want you to have extensive experience in all of these areas but we are going to pay you squat".
Oh, and no benefits!
WT you know what?

Yup. Happened to my DH.

The most entry level position in our office would be the receptionist position and I can assure you we would not hire anyone with zero experience.

This particular job would require someone who has been in this business for years and has had extensive experience in many aspects of it.
No entry level person would have a clue.

I had an experience recently with another outfit that wanted the same thing.
They were horrified that I expected to be paid more than a kid right out of school when I've been in this business for over 20 years.
GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
Thanks for letting me vent.

I think it's really time for me to concentrate on my other employment.
SELF employment.

Most of the employers in the healthcare field, in my area, are paying what they did 10 years ago...while expecting the new employee to be a 'team player' (who must be able to do everyone else's job in the office) and also must be a "multitasker" (handle 3 things at the same time, without being distracted). The other long time employees just do the ONE thing that they were hired to do, while the newbie is underpaid, overworked, and shafted. It makes for a hostile work environment (for the newly hired) and the Employer simply doesn't care if he has to find a "new employee" to fill the position(s) every 90 days. The mentality of Revolving Door Employment (also known as "at will employment" in my State) has, unfortunately, become "the new normal"...

Fitness training.
But it's not enough to pay the mortgage!
And clients come and go and you never know what you're going to bring in.
I have to come up with a PLAN.
